Note From Julia’s Brother Requesting Her Belongings

To the Chief of Police
Liverpool City
Dear Sir

I beg to ask you if you will be good enough to communicate with me with reference to the belongings “etc” of my late sister Julia Wallace (nee Dennis) late of 29 Wolverton St Anfield, Liverpool. The late wife of William Herbert Wallace whose trial ended on Saturday ____ (?), I being the nearest relation. ____ two more sisters living. If you will be ____ enough to inform me of any items in connection ____ clearing up business as I see in the news papers ____ some £90 standing to her credit in the P.O. Savings Bank at Liverpool but as for all the rest of her belongings I cannot say what there is until I hear from yu “confidentially” I should be very much obliged to you.
